At Dan River Campground we intend to provide a clean, safe environment so that everyone who comes can enjoy the outdoors whether that be participating in river activities, using the pool, games or just relaxing. Your cooperation is needed! Please respect fellow campers and our rules. Campers should not be in a hurry on the roads, should respect the environment and respect each other. Those of you who bring pets: we know they are special to you and you need to follow pet rules to the letter so we can continue to allow them in the park. Smokers please leave without a trace. Everyone entering park must stop at the office first
DRIVING AND PARKING
DRIVE SLOWLY , the speed limit is 10 mph or 5mph in the campground.
Drive on roads only. Park on gravel where possible.
All dogs are to be kept quiet and on a leash at all times everywhere in the park.Do not tie dogs to trees or where they can damage trees or other foliage. No rottweiler, pit bull or other dangerous breeds. Please clean up after your dog. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or in the buildings.
Parents shall watch their children and be responsible for them.
Children under 6 must be supervised in restrooms.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Check in time is 2 pm
Check out time is 12 noon
Rates are per 2 adults. No charge for your own minor children.
Extra Adults in your rv and guest children for tents and rv's are $6 per person
2 Adult limit per tent site, 4 adult limit per rv site, 6 person limit per site
Guests are welcome.There is a limit of 4 guests per site.
Your camping fee does not include your guests. If you already have two vehicles at your site, your guest should inquire where to park.
Everyone entering the park must register at the office
Guest rate is $4 per day and guests may register until 6 pm and must check out prior to 8 pm
Fires are permitted in fire rings only.
Do not move fire rings.
Do not burn aluminum cans, glass, trash, or construction materials.
Do not use fire rings for trash.
Fishing in pond is catch and release only.
Please remember to clean up your fishing spot (bait, boxes, and other trash ).
NO SMOKING IN RESTROOMS.
Restrooms are cleaned regularly, please clean up after yourself
No wastewater should be let out or dumped on the ground, use dump station
Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m . Children are to be with parents during . quiet hours.
Radios/stereos are allowed inside your rv at low volume or
outside with earbuds/earphones only.
No chainsaws or generators.
Harm to property, trees and wildlife is cause for eviction.
Management reserves the right to request anyone to vacate the campground
No firearms, fireworks, or explosives of any kind
No washing cars or trailers at any time.
No rowdy or disorderly conduct will be tolerated.
No chemicals in holding tanks (use ecosave products)
