Dan River Campground is located in a beautiful quiet area near the Dan River. Come and enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Rockingham County, North Carolina at our campground.

Tent Camping
Tent campers can enjoy our primitive campsites (no power or water) or partial hook-up tent campsites with power (20 amp service) and water. Each tent campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. You can conveniently drive directly to your tent campsite. Tent camping is limited to a maximum of 3 nights.
Tent camping is limited due to the amount of pop-up and other small towed “campers” that are being booked. Camping with these types of campers is tent camping and it is challenging to keep our bath house clean & sanitary with so many people using the bath house.
There is only one tent campsite available at any given time. For large groups (scouts, church groups, etc) we have a primitive group tent camping area.
